I hope this email finds you doing well. We have been having a great Fall at CrossRoads. Lots of new people every week. I am so grateful for how God is moving in our congregation. And thank you for being a part of our church family.

This Wednesday, September 1^st, the children (ages K – 5^th) continue on “Joseph’s Journey”.  We still need parents to help with games, crafts, snacks, etc. Contact gene-o@crossroadsofarlington.org if you would like to help out.

We are collecting school supplies for underpriviledged kids. Supplies needed are: Folders with pockets (brads & brads), crayons, glue sticks, pencils, and Kleenex.  If you would like to help out, you can bring your donations and place them in the basket in the Connecting Center.

We are excited to be offering some great classes at CrossRoads this Fall.  These classes will meet on Sunday nights @ 6pm starting September 12^th. Childcare will be provided for ages 5 and under:

• Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University – Cost is $93 per family. Classes will meet for 13 sessions.  Class will include a video lesson by Dave Ramsey along with small group discussions.
• Wild at Heart (for men) – Cost is $15. Classes will meet for 5 sessions, and will be led by Dave Winchester and Ken Decker.
• Energizing Your Marriage – Classes are limited to 5 couples, and will meet for 6 sessions, which will be led by myself. There is no cost. Contact chris@crossroadsofarlington.org to sign up.

I hope this email finds you doing well. We had a wonderful weekend of services. Our Saturday Night Gathering had a great turnout, and to our surprise, our 2 Gatherings on Sunday morning were packed. We were able to introduce our 4 Pais interns, and baptized 5 people in our sanctuary. We are grateful that God is using our ministry to touch the lives of more and more people in our community. This Sunday we will continue our series “Lessons from God”. I hope you can be with us.

The Ladies Breakfast is this Saturday @ 9:00am at the church. Julie Thorne will be speaking. You’re invited to attend a fun time of food & fellowship with other women of CrossRoads.  The Ladies Bible Study resumes on Monday, August 30^th.  The study book will be “Interrupted” by Jen Hatmaker.
